  ITINERARY

• Day 01

  Journey will start from Dhaka International Airport. Tourists will be received at the Paro Airport and will be transferred to the Thimphu Hotel. On the way they will visit the road and river side Temples (Iron Bridge & Tamchong Lakhang). After having lunch tourists will visit Memorial Chorten, Zoo, Changkha Monastery, Thimphu Old Town/Clock Tower Area. They can spend the evening either strolling/shopping. After having dinner, they will be brought to hotel inThimphu.

• Day 02

  After having breakfast tourists will visit Budda Point and Cherry Monastery (Wooden Bridge Area). A beautiful traditional wooden bridge is there that will give them an attractive view of Thimphu. On the way back they will visit Stupa. After lunch they will visit the SAARC Building and Tashicho Dzong. In the evening tourists can enjoy Thimphu's nightlife. After having dinner, they will be brought to hotel in Thimphu.

• Day 03

  After having breakfast tourists will drive to Paro; they will check in at the hotel and visit Takshang Monastery from valley floor, Drukyal Dzong and Kicho Monastery. After lunch they will visit Paro Dzong. In the evening will be kept free. After having dinner, they will be brought to hotel in Paro.

• Day 04

  After having breakfast tourists will depart from the Paro Airport.
  
  

  TOURIST ATTRACTIONS

   

• National Museum of Bhutan – The artifacts and exhibits here allows you to interpret and understand the rich history of Bhutan as you look through the pages of the archive. Visiting the museum will give you an immersive experience that history books fail to provide with.
• Tashichho Dzong – In 1641 Zhabdrung built the Tashichho Dzong (Fortress of the auspicious religion) as a replacement of the Dho Ngon (Blue stone) Dzong. This has traditionally been the seat of the Dharma Raja, the head of Bhutan’s civil government.
• National Memorial Chorten – Nestled at the center of Thimphu city, this is an iconic monument. The chorten is an exquisite example of Buddhist architecture and artwork, adorned with intricate sculptures and stunning paintings.
• Buddha Dordenma Statue – This 51.5 metre statue of Buddha is one of the largest ones in the world. The Buddha Dordenma is nestled atop a hill in Kuenselphodrang Nature Park, overlooking the Southern entrance to Thimphu Valley.
• Taktsang Monastery (Tiger’s Nest) – This  is more famously known as Paro Taktsang, a beautiful Buddhist temple complex that is 3120 metres above the sea level. It is one of the most visited tourist destinations, a cultural icon of Bhutan.
• Drukgyel Dzong (Bhutan Victory Fort) – Drukgyel Dzong is one of the most beautiful and ancient archaeological sites in Bhutan.  It was built in 1649 to mark the victory against Tibetan invasion.
• Festival Ground – This is a stone paved region outside the Paro Dzong where dancers donned in elaborate costumes perform the traditional dance. This is where the Thimphu tsechu Festival is held for three days.
• Bondey Lhakhang – This is an exotic 400 year old temple, nestled on the west bank of the river in Bondey village. The idyllic surroundings and the beautiful architecture can soothe your nerves.
• Ugyen Pelri Palace – The Palace has been built by by Paro Penlop (Governor) Tshering Penjor around 1930. It cloaked by the woods and is the place where the Queen mother resides.
• Pena Lhakhang – Pena Lhakhang is known to be founded by the Tibetan king called ‘Songsten Gyempo’ in the 7th century. It is sitated near Dumtseg lhakang.
• Paro Weekend Market – This place will introduce you to the local Bhutanese products. This small yet cozy market will help you immerse into the  vibrant culture.
• Druk Choeding – The town temple is in a serene region where you can enjoy the exquisiteness of the temple built in 1525 by Ngawang Chogyel. It is also known as Tshongdoe Naktshang.
• Chele La Pass – A two hour ride from Paro leads travelers to one of the highest vantage points. Whether it is the view of frozen lakes or the Himalayan yaks grazing on pastures, the Chele La Pass offers it all.
• Archery Ground – Archery is the national sport of Bhutan and visiting the country will not be complete without watching a match or two. It is more than a sport for the people of Bhutan, archery is seen as an activity suited for the festivals, as a way to socialize and communicate.
• Nyamai Zam – Nyamai Zam is a wood covered bridge next to Amankora. It has been reconstructed  atop an older version, that was damaged due a flood back in 1969; the most picturesque photographs of Bhutan are known to be taken while standing on this bridge.
